This Club has been Established since 1990 & has some of the best Stafford & Irish Bloodlines Registered anywhere in the world!

Introduction:

Here at S.I.B.T.C. we specialise in showing pure Staffordshire & Irish Bull Terriers that are most importantly healthy and temperamentally sound, as well as being big, strong and athletic.

We regard our dogs as "Pure-Bred" simply because they are now bred type to type with the single intention of extracting the very best qualities from each generation and passing these along to the next, in order to produce a better dog. We cannot change the past and neither should you.

History:

We have been registering Staffordshire & Irish Bull Terriers since 1990, and now have over 1400 dogs in our membership!

The S.I.B.T.C. was created in 1990 from the need to represent a variety of the breed that was quite distinctive from the "standard type".  Breeders felt that the "Irish variety" although of long standing, was not being recognized by the Kennel Club, therefore they were not getting a fair crack of the whip by judges who regarded them as "non standard" and not worthy of prizes.

The first S.I.B.T.C. show was held back in 1995 and grew very strong, Members consist of people with a range of dog breeders; however, we are a dog club whose common interest is the Stafford's & Irish we have American Bulldogs & KC Stafford dog breeders, which come along to the S.I.B.T.C. shows, consisting of Conformation, Weight pull & ‘A’ Frame events.
